For UK Shopify merchants

Lost the chargeback. Not the money.

The bank’s decision isn’t the end. Redue checks your lost disputes, tells you which ones are worth pursuing, and helps you recover the money from the customer.

You proved delivery. The bank still sided with the customer. Most merchants just write it off.

What most merchants don’t know

A lost chargeback is a bank decision, not a court ruling.

The customer may still legally owe you the money.

The chargeback

Decided between banks, under card-scheme rules. It settles who keeps the payment.

The debt

Comes from the sale itself. If you delivered what was ordered, the customer may still owe you the price.

How it works

From lost to recovered, in three steps.

  1. 01

    Scan

We review your lost disputes and evidence.

Read-only access to Shopify brings in every lost dispute, with its order, payment and delivery details. Connect your inbox too, and we match the emails you exchanged with each customer.

    • Orders
    • Disputes
    • Delivery tracking
    • Customer emails
  2. 02

    Assess

You see which cases are worth pursuing.

Each case gets a clear band — strong, medium, weak or not worth pursuing — with the reasons for and against. Every fact we rely on is quoted word for word, with a link to where it came from.

    • Strong
    • Needs evidence
    • Not worth pursuing
  3. 03

    Recover

Evidence-backed letters, and the small claims route if needed.

Redue drafts a clear, factual letter on your letterhead. Every statement links to its evidence, and anything that can’t be backed up is flagged and kept out. You approve it and send it — nothing goes out without you.

The free audit

An honest answer for every lost dispute.

What each case is worth pursuing, what’s missing, and which ones aren’t worth your time.

Every lost dispute, in one place

The reason, amount and date, and the evidence behind each one.

Example

A clear band for each case

Strong, medium, weak or not worth pursuing. No mystery scores.

The reasons, in plain English

For and against, so you can decide for yourself.

  • +Signed for at the billing address
  • +Customer confirmed it arrived
  • −No photo of the delivered parcel

What’s missing

The evidence that would make a weaker case stronger, and where to find it.

An honest “not worth it”

If a stolen card was genuinely used, or the amount is too small to chase, we’ll say so. No pressure.

Not worth pursuing

The route

One step at a time. You decide each one.

Every case starts with a polite letter. Court is the last resort, never the first.

  1. 01

    Free audit

We tell you which lost disputes are worth pursuing, and why.

  2. 02

    Resolution request

A polite, factual letter in your name, asking the customer to pay what they owe.

  3. 03

    30 days to respond

The customer has time to pay or reply. Redue keeps track of the deadline for you.

  4. 04

    Letter before claim

For strong cases, a formal letter before claim — the step courts expect before a claim is made.

  5. 05

    Small claims, if needed

If they still don’t pay, Redue helps you prepare for small claims in England and Wales. Going ahead is always your call.

  6. Any time

    Paid? The case closes.

The customer pays you directly, using the details in your letter.

Why Redue exists

Built by a merchant who did it the hard way.

I run ArcticFur. A customer chargebacked a delivered order. I took them to small claims, won, and got paid. Redue is the tool I wish I’d had.

FAQ

Questions merchants ask.

Is this the same as Chargeflow?

No. They fight the bank before the decision. We start after you’ve lost.

Is it legal?

Yes. It’s the normal debt recovery process for money you’re owed.

What does it cost?

The audit is free. Recovery is success-based, so you pay nothing if nothing is recovered.

What data do you need?

Read-only access, only what’s needed, explained in plain English: your lost disputes with their orders and delivery details and, if you choose, the emails you exchanged with those customers.

Will Redue contact my customers?

No. Redue never contacts your customers. You approve every letter and send it yourself, in your name.

Which lost disputes can you help with?

Lost Shopify disputes where the customer is in England or Wales, such as “item not received”, “not as described” or “unrecognised”. We look at every one and tell you honestly which aren’t worth pursuing.

Do I need a solicitor?

The small claims track is designed to be used without one. Redue isn’t a law firm and doesn’t give legal advice, so if you’d like advice on a specific case, speak to a solicitor.

What happens if the customer pays?

They pay you directly, using the payment details in your letter. You mark the case as paid and it closes.
